SKILL DEVELOPMENT

the 411 on 3 on 3

USA Basketball says

"3X3 BASKETBALL IS A GREAT WAY FOR COACHES AND PLAYERS TO EVALUATE AND IMPROVE ON INDIVIDUAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT. WITH A 12-SECOND SHOT CLOCK AND FASTER PACE OF PLAY, 3X3 BENEFITS PLAYERS’ MENTAL AND PHYSICAL GROWTH ON THE COURT."

elitehoopsbasketball.com says

"Our 3-On-3 League is designed to improve players’ overall game, while teaching the fundamentals and principles of offense and defense. Players will learn proper spacing and how to move without the basketball. Our 3-On-3 League will give players on average 147% more shots, moves, passes and possessions, compared to a typical one hour 5-on-5 game. "

www.basketballbreaktrhough.com says

"3 on 3 gives them more room to operate and practice their skills. 3. Players learn the game! When there are only six (3 on 3) players on the court, players are more inclined to run the pick-and-roll, screen away, and screen the ball without a coach even telling them to do so, because there are fewer options out there."

Coach Burns- RISE Basketball says

"I have used 3 on 3 at every level of my coaching and training.  Young players actually grasp the concept of basketball quicker while gaining confidence and advanced players get to use what they have been working on in training sessions."
